Must: Morning yoga and prayers. Both give me energy and power to fight and move on.
Weekend Special: Shift from my government accommodation to my ancestral home in the Jamia University campus. Gives me “rahat” Rahat (relief) and Aram (rest). For me, it is like an outstation trip even though it is just 10 kilometres away from my official residence in New Delhi.
Addiction: My Quran and poetry of Galib, Iqbal and Hali. All this gives me solace in tense and unhappy moments.
Work home balance: My office occupies three quarter of my waking hours. I like being with myself. Sometimes I share my happiness and anger with friends.
Leadership secrets: Listen and relate to problems and give instant solutions..
Family: Real family is my staff and friends. My husband died long ago. My three kids are in Canada..My strength is living alone for 18 years.
