It must be a first of its kind - at least in recent memory. One brother produces, one acts and the other directs. Guinness, are you tuned in?

The Gadar-and-Apne hit man Anil Sharma is about to launch a sci-fi fantasy Mr Ram Prasad as a platform for his youngest brother Kapil Sharma. Another brother, Sanjay, will be directing the shots. The script had been written five years ago.

Mr Ram Prasad has been budgeted at close to Rs 20 crore. "We're going to be flying in technicians from abroad. I'm also going to be visiting China soon to train in action for some cable stunts," he informs.

3-D comedy
Cable stunts? Fantasy adventure? Sounds like another Krrish?

"No, it's not a superhero movie," Kapil insists. "It's more on the lines of Back to the Future. It's a 3-D action comedy with special effects. A feel-good movie."

For the most part, the movie will be shot in Mumbai. "We're looking at big names but we won't start casting till the script is ready. We should go on the floors in May," says the actor.

By the way what's happening with his debut film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron? It's been in the making for three years. Answer: "We only started shooting last January. It's an on-the-run movie. We had five outdoors in different parts of the country. That takes time. If all goes well, the copy should be out in the next fortnight."

Just friends
Kapil continues,"We're looking at a mid-February release. But there are the appoaching coming exams and competition from biggies like Jodhaa Akbar. If we don't come in February, we will push the release back to the second week of April."

There have been rumorus that his costar Kulraj Randhawa and Kapil are more than just friends. He laughs, "We are good friends but not in the way you mean.."

Ha, ha.
