Three persons died following the leak of an unidentified gas from an oil factory in Ankleshwar town in Gujarat.

Three persons died following the leak of an unidentified gas from an oil factory in Ankleshwar town in Gujarat's Bharuch district on Sunday, officials said.

The leak occurred in a factory in the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation area of Ankleshwar, an industrial town, they said.

Two persons died on the spot while the third died on the way to a hospital, the officials said.

Official are trying to ascertain the cause of the leak.
