A 19-year-old girl died after she set herself afire upset over her failure in the plus-two examinations, police said on Tuesday.
After the exam results were announced on Monday, Priya doused herself with kerosene and set ablaze when she was alone in her house at Paramakudi near here.
She succumbed to burn injuries on way to the government hospital in Madurai.
