TN to send report on tsunami losses to Centre
TN CM said about 60 per cent of the rescue work has been completed with state government funds alone.

The Tamil Nadu government would send a detailed report about the devastation caused by the tsunami killer waves to the Centre within the next two days, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said in Cuddalore on Thursday.
About 60 per cent of the rescue work has been completed with state government funds alone, she told reporters.
The Chief Minister also distributed over Rs 10.25 crore relief aid in cash and kind to some of the affected.
