Top experts to attend ophthalmology meet

SEVERAL INTERNATIONALLY and nationally renowned ophthalmologists would be coming to Bhopal for the All India Ophthalmologic Conference starting February 9.

The four-day mega conference would be held at the Minto Hall, the Old Vidhan Sabha building. Various technical sessions would be held daily during the conference. Specialists from across the world would give presentations on new research, methodology and techniques being adopted in the field.

Discussions would also be held on various sub-branches of ophthalmology during the conference. Most City hotels have been booked for the mega event that would conclude on February 12.

The notable specialists arriving for the conference include cataract surgeon from Burlington Dr Michael W Brenan, glaucoma specialist from New York Dr Rajendra Bansal, Vitrioretinal therapy specialist Dr Geeta Menon from the UK, Professor Donald Tan from Singapore, Dr Doric Wong from Singapore, Dr Jonas, Dr V K Raju, Dr Shyamal Reddy, Dr Dinesh Chawla and others.

ALL THE hotels and guesthouses are booked for four days for the participants of the All India ophthalmology conference beginning here in the Minto Hall from February 9. Nearly 4000 leading ophthalmologists from across the country are expected to participate in the conference.
