The TRS tonight decided to dissolve all party committees, except its politbureau, in a bit to strengthen the party organisation from grassroots level.

"All party committees, except the recently appointed politbureau, will be dissolved. All committees will be constituted afresh" senior TRS leader Madhusudhana Charry told reporters after a marathon meeting of the politbureau.

The politbureau discussed at length various organasational issues in addition to the reported moves by TRS MP and actress Vijaysanthi to quit the party.

A decision on Vijaysanthi, who has been staying away from the party activities and holding talks with congress leader, would be taken at an appropriate time.

The Medak MP has remained tightlipped on her intention though she has met Congress leaders reportedly over quiting the party.

The TRS has also decided to step up agitations on various public issues, senior TRS leader N Narasimha Reddy said.
