Two infiltrators killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Two unidentified persons were killed when they were trying to infiltrate into this side of the Indo-Pak border.

Two unidentified persons were killed when they were trying to infiltrate into this side of the Indo-Pak border in Ramgarh belt of Jammu and Kashmir, 45-kms from Jammu, official sources said on Monday.

The Border Security Force troops of 58 battalion observed some movement near the International Border (IB) in Ramgarh border belt of Jammu district at around 2130 hours on Sunday, the sources said.

They saw two persons crossing into Indian side along IB at Paharpur border outpost and challenged them when they tried to escape.

Troops resorted to firing in which the two persons were killed, they said adding the bodies were recovered by the troops and handed over to police.

However, no incriminating documents were found from their possession, they said.
