Two unidentified militants were killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Two unidentified militants were killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
Acting on a tip off, police assisted by Rashtriya Rifles cordoned off Gadool village of Kokernag in Anantnag district, official sources said.
A gunbattle erupted which lasted several hours resulting into the killing of two militants.
The identity of the militants could not be ascertained immediately, the sources said.
