UG students? counselling to begin from July 11
THE COUNSELLING for admissions to all three under graduate courses of Allahabad University will begin from July 11. The selected candidates will have to report with their original documents and prescribed fee on the given dates at the varsity.
THE COUNSELLING for admissions to all three under graduate courses of Allahabad University will begin from July 11. The selected candidates will have to report with their original documents and prescribed fee on the given dates at the varsity.
According to AU Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT) - 2006 Director Prof AP Sinha, the selected candidates should report at the AU Prawesh Bhawan with original documents, one photocopy set of the original documents and fee between 8 am and 11 am according to the following schedule. All the admissions would follow the merit and admission would be granted on the availability of seats.
Dr Sinha said that the qualified students B Com should report on July 11. The cut off merit in B Com for general candidates is 127-199, for SC 126-77 and 126-35 for ST candidates. B Sc (Applied Sciences) candidates should report on July 11. The cut off merit for general candidates in B.Sc (Applied Sciences) with Mathematics is 174-128 for general candidates, 117-110 for SC and 29 for ST candidates.
The cut off merit for candidates of B.Sc (Applied Sciences) with Biology is 222-154 for general candidates, 147-98 for SC candidates and 31 for ST candidates.
The counselling for admission to BA course will b begin from July 12. The general students securing marks in the merit 202-132 should report on July 12, between 118-131 should report on July 13, between 117-110 should report on July 14 and those securing between 109-104 should report on July 15. The SC candidates securing marks between 103-78 should report on July 16 while all the appeared candidates of ST category should report on July 16.
The counselling for B Sc (Mathematics) will be held on July 17 and the cut off merit for general candidates is 220-103, for SC candidates is 102-64 and all the appearing candidates under ST category should report on July 17.
