Vaishali incident reflects lawlessness: Muslim body

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has condemned the burning of a woman and her five children in Vaishali district in Bihar.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on Sunday condemned the burning of a woman and her five children in Vaishali district in Bihar saying it "reflected the lawlessness in the state under the new regime".

"We strongly condemn the incident which comes within a month after six poor Muslim peasants were massacred in Motihari. Such lawlessness does not augur well for the new Chief Minister of Bihar," the organisation said in a release.
