The three leaders are Praveen Jain, district convener, election committee, Hisar; Arun Goyal, general secretary, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Hisar; and Pradeep Khatkar, general secretary, BJYM, Bhiwani.

The BJP and HJC protested on Wednesday to demand the arrest of Jindal after the CBI registered a case against him in connection with the Coalgate scam. The protest turned violent after 'black oil' meant to be smeared on the entrance gate to the Jindal House fell on police officials. At this, police cane-charged the protesters, in which at least 30 workers sustained injuries. Among the injured were two DSPs of Hisar.
The three BJP leaders were booked on charges of causing grievous injuries, trying unauthorised entry into the Jindal House and obstructing government officials from discharging their duty.

The police have named 25 people, including district BJP chief Kamal Gupta, district HJC chief Randheer Panihar, in the FIR. Gupta and Panihar, who suffered injuries in the clash, are under treatment in separate hospitals here.
