Vishwa Hindu Parishad says no links whatsoever to Prachi

“The VHP again clarifies that Sadhvi Prachi is neither the leader, nor its spokesperson or any office bearer of our organisation,” Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s joint general secretary Surendra Jain said in a statement.

He also clarified that Prachi had been active in politics and had fought elections in the past too.

“Sadhvi Prachi has fought election on the symbol of a political party and is active in politics. Those active in politics can’t be an office bearer of the VHP,” Jain said.

“So, Sadhvi Prachi should not be described as VHP leader,” the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s joint general secretary added.
