Woman held for loitering at night

A 20-year-old woman was arrested when she was loitering around under mysterious circumstances on Sohna Road on Monday, police said.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested when she was loitering around under mysterious circumstances on Sohna Road on Monday, police said.

During a routine patrolling, the police spotted the woman at 3 am near Nirvana Country but she failed to explain the reason behind strolling at such an odd hours alone.

"The woman, who hails from Kolkata, lives in Munirka area of Delhi. She did not explain why she was in this area and with whom she had come," said assistant sub-inspector Balwan Singh.

Later in the day, she was produced in a city court, which granted her bail.
