A woman allegedly poisoned her two daughters to death and killed herself after consuming poison, following a reported quarrel with her husband here, in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu, today.

According to police, the 30-year-old woman had reportedly picked up a quarrel with her husband folliwng which she decided to take this extreme step.

She gave poison-mixed milk to her 9 and 6 year old daughters and consumed the milk self. As the neighbours saw the woman and daughters vomiting blood, they took them to the Government hospital, where all the three were declared brought dead, police said.
