Incidents of molestation of women, including making obscene gestures, whistling, using vulgar language or singing aloud raunchy songs, will now be non-bailable and cognisable offences in the state, an official release said today.
The ordinance states that offenders will be imprisoned for 15 days for the first offence. Subsequent offences will result in one month's imprisonment.
