YC takes out Prerna Yatra

Activists of the City Youth Congress (I) took out a Prerna Yatra here on Friday. The procession started from Askari Market of Kareli ward and went through various places in the city, including Karamat Chauki and GTB Nagar and culminated at Solah Market crossing.

Activists of the City Youth Congress (I) took out a Prerna Yatra here on Friday. The procession started from Askari Market of Kareli ward and went through various places in the city, including Karamat Chauki and GTB Nagar and culminated at Solah Market crossing.

The activists went from door to door and informed the people of the schemes, including the rural employment guarantee scheme, which had been implemented by the Congress for the benefit of the masses.

The scheme would specially benefit those who were living below poverty line, said city president Vijay Bahadur Singh in a press statement. Besides, people were also made aware of the rising rate of crime and corruption under the regime of the Samajwadi Party in the state.

Secretary UP Congress Committee Javed Urfi, state vice president of UP Youth Congress Shameem Alam, Shariq Abdullah and Nafis Anwar also took part in the procession.
