Yogi flayed over slaughterhouse controversy

SENIOR SAMAJWADI Party leader Zafar Amin Dakku accused the BJP MP Yogi Adityanath of hatching a conspiracy to disturb communal harmony over slaughterhouse issue.

Talking to media persons here today, Dakku said that there was no programme of the Urban Development Minister Mohd Azam Khan to lay the foundation stone of the slaughterhouse on June 2. He said Adityanath unnecessarily giving a communal colour to this issue.

It may be mentioned here that in a section of press, the news was published that Azam Khan would lay the foundation stone of a new slaughterhouse at Mahewa Mandi and Union government had allocated Rs 9 crore for this project.

He said that the news has added fuel to the row. However, Dakku admitted that the delegation has demanded Urban Development Minister to start the construction of slaughterhouse and the minister has directed the officials to complete the formalities for it.

Dakku claimed that the defeat of Adityanath-supported candidates in Panchayat and in Kauriram assembly by-elections has mounted pressure on BJP MP and he was trying to retain the loosing ground. Dakku said the people have foiled the tactics of saffron forces for flaring up the tension on various occasion.
