Youth jumps to death from west Delhi mall

The 25-year-old employee of a local brewery commits suicide by jumping off City Square Mall in Rajouri Garden.

A 25-year-old employee of a local brewery on Tuesday committed suicide by jumping off a multi-storey shopping mall in a west Delhi locality.

Deepak Kumar Sharma leapt off the City Square Mall in Rajouri Garden in the wee hours of the day. He was rushed to a hospital nearby where he was declared brought dead.

Sharma, a resident of East Rohtaash Nagar in Shahdara, was a lab technician at a beer manufacturing plant in Greater Noida.

A suicide note found from his body said he was taking this extreme step as he felt that he was unable to keep his family happy, police said.

His father is a retired employee of the Military Engineering Services.
