Class 10 girl collapses while writing MP board exam, dies

Seventeen-year-old Krutika, a class 10 student, died while taking her board examination at Khalsa School in Indore on Friday. The reason of death was not known immediately.

Seventeen-year-old Krutika, a class 10 student, died while taking her board examination at Khalsa School in Indore on Friday. Daughter of Jagdish Prajapat, she was a resident of Janata Colony, near Badaganpati in Indore.

Deceased Krutika's father Jagdish Prajapat said she left home at around 7 am on Friday to attend coaching class before appearing for social science paper at Khalsa School from 8.30 am to 11.30 am.

"At around 8.45 am, we got a call from exam centre that Krutika fainted during examination," Prajapat informed.

As soon as Prajapat and family members got the news, they rushed towards the exam centre. At exam centre, they were informed about her condition and she was rushed to nearby City Nursing Home as her condition deteriorated further.

Meanwhile, at the hospital family members informed them that their child died before she came to hospital.

Prajapat said that she was hale and hearty in the morning when she left home as per her daily routine.

"As soon as exam invigilator informed us about her condition, we immediately called ambulance and informed Chhatripura police. But her parents insisted us to take her to nearby hospital in autoricksaw," Tomar added

Meanwhile, Chhatripura police registered a case in the matter under Section 174 of CrPC.
