And India Reads, which works on the concept of giving book lovers the best, is here to help you. India Reads has become so popular among the book lovers of Indore that 1,200 people have become its members within a short span of three months.

One of the members, Nidhi Phulwaney, an event organiser from the city says, "The concept is wonderful for people like us, who are always travelling and shifting bases. I cannot purchase many books as it will increase my luggage so the website comes out as the perfect answer to it."

Talking about the online library, CEO of India Reads Pranil Bafna says, "We wanted people to read books. People have started opting for e-books because of their cost effectiveness." But if a book lover becomes the member of India Reads through online, he or she does not have to do anything and will get books at their doorsteps, Bafna says.

He further says people of Indore are more interested in reading fiction and romance than business and motivational books.

Also, the website data indicate that that the residents of the city are keen on reading Indian authors, like Chetan Bhagat and Ravinder Singh.

Bafna says, "Students constitute a huge chunk of our members. The books by Chetan Bhagat and Ravinder Singh have many more takers than classics."
