Hilarious Twitter thread about 2 dogs and a cat taking over a man’s house goes viral

A suspense-filled and hilarious story about two dogs and a cat invading a man’s home and briefly taking over his life has left netizens highly entertained. Twitter user John Paul Brammer, who is the Managing Editor of The Trevor Project, took to Twitter to share his ordeal when he found his neighbour’s dogs and cat knocking at his door. What followed was shared in the form of photos and videos in several tweets and has since gone insanely viral.

It all started when Brammer realised the animals were at his door and he couldn’t quite figure out what to do. “There’s a... cat and two dogs knocking on my apartment door? Like inside the building what do I do OMG,” he posted on March 16. The post has since collected over 77,000 ‘likes’ and more than 18,900 retweets – and still counting. The tweet was followed with a video of said animals.

While the dogs waited outside, the cat somehow managed to outsmart Brammer and made it inside his apartment.

Brammer explained that the pets belong to the apartment above his. A door left open allowed the animals from escaping out. “I got the dogs inside (but just heard a glass shattering noise so yikes?) No idea how to herd this cat upstairs,” he tweeted.

The dogs, however, found their way back to him.

Afraid that the dogs may sneak out of the building, Brammer decided to “chill with all parties involved” until help arrived. And the dogs couldn’t help but show off their trick:

Things continued to escalate, though. Brammer secured the dogs in the house but they still managed to get away. After some more time, one of the dogs managed to lock itself inside the house. So Brammer decided to take the other one back to his apartment where the cat had already made itself comfortable.

Only to go crazy yet again. Brammer tweeted that some dog owners tired to help in the situation but they too were outsmarted by the pets.

But things finally got sorted out.

Brammer later explained that the owners were eventually back and the pets were safe. He even added that the dogs were locking and unlocking the door by pummeling the door with their paws.
