An unidentified person called the police control room at 10:10 hrs this morning saying that some explosives were planted at the mosque near Ajmer gate in the city, SP city (South) C B Sharma said.

The police soon started search operation with the help of bomb disposal and dog squad but nothing was found, he said, adding, investigation into the matter is on.

Earlier, on June 21, an anonymous call stating that a bomb was planted at the city police control room here also turned out to be a hoax. The caller identified as Akhtar was arrested the next day on June 22.
