The railways have opened two telephone helplines at the Howrah railway station to provide information about the passengers of the Howrah-Chennai Coramandel Express, whose 14 bogies derailed near Jajpur Road railway station in Orissa on Friday night.

People wanting to get information about their relatives and friends travelling in the Express can call up at either of the two numbers (033) 26411416 and 26413660, railway sources said.

The Southern Railways has also opened the following helpline numbers at Chennai Central station:
