Carlo Capasa, President, Camera Nazionale Moda Italiana, took note of how the platform was the first one to dedicate to speak on the future of fashion for both countries bringing together fashion powerhouses of both countries. “India is one of the most important garment markets and for this, it is important to understand the positioning of Italian brands in India. In 2019, the overall fashion market size was estimated in India to be $70 billion, including luxury and non-luxury and the luxury market is growing. We want to increase brand awareness and invest in digitisation in the times to come,” he said.
