Planning the biggest fest on the campus is quite a task, but which college has had the loudest and most successful of them all? Find out who won our coolest festival debate.

The shaan of every college is their big annual festival. While music concerts, star-studded shows, competitions, masti and dhamaal might be the main idea, creating a big and lasting impression is as important.

Zeroing in on the coolest fest among Delhi colleges is tough, but Vidushi Verma from Hindu College and Sonali Kathuria from SRCC battled it out on HT City-Fever 104 FM’s Campus Ka Mahayuddh to conquer the coveted pedestal.

Vidushi, backed by RJ Khurafati Nitin, spoke about how the name of their college fest stands true to its culture. “Our college fest — Mecca — is open for all as we do not sell passes of `800-1000. Everyone is invited. Moreover, while other colleges have 4-5 days to their fests, we offer 25-30 activities in just three days.”

Supported by DJ Rhicha, Sonali spoke about their festival getting bigger by the year. “We have had many national and international artists performing at our festival —Crossroads. We are on every student and sponsor’s to-do-list. Even if we keep an entry fee, thousands turn up.”

Actor Sunny Leone judged the debate and declar-ed Hindu College the winner of the Party Yunhi Chalegi award.
