Lok Sabha Elections 2019: EC notice to Jaipur MP for violating code of conduct

Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The notice, issued to both leaders, states that as per ECI, personnel of Indian army, their works and photos of functions should not be used for advertisement/propaganda /campaign or in any form by political parties and candidates in regard to elections.

The district election officer has issued a notice to Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra and Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) general secretary Sunil Sharma for violating the model code of conduct.

The notice, issued to both leaders, states that as per Election Commission of India, personnel of Indian army, their works and photos of functions should not be used for advertisement/propaganda /campaign or in any form by political parties and candidates in regard to elections. Both have put posters using photos of the works of Indian army, their own photos with designation at various places in Jaipur Parliamentary constituency, which is against the directions of Election Commission of India. The EC has sought clarification within three days and they have been asked to refrain from such activities in future.

Despite repeated calls, Bohra and Sharma did not respond for their comments.
