Two persons were killed and 13 others injured after being struck by lightning in different parts of Uttar Pradesh, police said here today.

Two persons were killed and 13 others injured after being struck by lightning in different parts of Uttar Pradesh, police said here on Wednesday.
Krishna (18) died in Dhaneshwar village in Dhobiamau area of Pratapgarh district after being struck by lightning, they said, adding that nine persons were injured in a similar incident in Kithawar Bazar.
In Jaunpur district, Usha Devi (50) died and four others were injured after lightning struck them in Sengamau area, deputy Superintendent of Police R D Chaurasiya said.
