Known as the ‘Little Master’ or ‘Master Blaster’, his followers often refer to him as the ‘God of Cricket.’ It was in 1994 that Tendulkar received the Arjuna Award and in 1997 he received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, India’s highest sporting honour.
