Look #BeyondMarks: YouTubers and social media users join the fight against Marksism

YouTubers and Social media urge students to look #BeyondMarks; share their result online and #SayNoToMarksism.

Board results often instil a sense of anxiety and even fear in the hearts of parents and students. Students, who are constantly pushed to work hard, are also often pitted against each other on the basis of their scores. Sounds unfair, right? We think so too.

As part of the campaign Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar — started by HT City and HTCampus.com (India’s leading college search platform) — we have been fighting against the growing #Marksism. The campaign invites people to support children at the time of their results and urges parents and students to look #BeyondMarks. It received a fair share of celebrity support too, with actor Ali Fazal, singers Indeep Bakshi and Kailash Kher and YouTube sensation Bhuvan Bam coming out to support the cause. Social media users are joining the campaign.

To add to the growing support, we have YouTubers, Carry Minati, Nazzar Battu, Ashish Chanchalani, Rishabh Rana, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia and Sejal Kumar, who have uploaded videos asking all their followers to look #BeyondMarks and have asked them to rise against the rampant #Marksism, abolishing it once and for all.
