Mahad search ops: Focus shifts to nearby village
NDRF officials have shifted their focus to Kemborli village around 15km from the accident spot
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officials have shifted their focus to Kemborli village around 15km from the accident spot. The Savitri river takes a U-turn near this village.

“Around 12 bodies have been recovered from this spot in the past five days. So we have deployed more officials here on Monday. However, we have not been able to trace the missing vehicles so far,” said Anupam Srivastav, commandant of NDRF.
“Apart from this, we have chosen two other places for the search. One is Dadli bridge and another spot is between Dadli bridge and the accident spot,” he said.
Officials are using six echo sound censors to trace the missing vehicles. Two boats have been deployed near the collapsed bridge.
The Indian Navy and the Coast Guard officials continued their operations in the Arabian sea and some other parts of the river.
