Teenager jumps to death from Thane residence

THANE: A teenager committed suicide by jumping from his 15th floor residence in Neelkanth Greens at Manpada in Kasarvadavli, Thane, on Sunday. The teenager, identified as Rohit Singh,18, took this drastic step when he was alone at home. Singh was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. “Singh lived in the flat with his mother, sister and grandmother. We are yet to record their statements,” said an officer from Kasarvadavli police station. The police have registered a case of accidental death.
