Sayed Mustafa Ali Akbar Husaini, 73, suffered from heart disease and asthma, the police said.

The Khar police, who are investigating the case, have registered a case of accidental death.

On Monday night, Husaini was standing in the balcony of his apartment when he slipped and fell.

The watchman heard a thud and found Husaini’s body on the concrete.

He alerted the building residents and they took Husaini to a nearby hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead before admission.

Senior police inspector Mangesh Pote of the Khar police station said that although they have ruled out foul play, they will investigate the case.

Lucky Hotels and Restaurants has two outlets — one at Bandra and the other at Goregaon.
