More, who hanged himself at his Reserve Bank of India colony home in Chembur, left a note saying he did not want to live.

He had returned home on Thursday afternoon after his math exam and appeared normal. In the evening his parents and sister left but he stayed home. At 10.30 pm, when the family returned, More did not open the door. After the door was broken down, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan. “He was alive but unconscious,” said father Ramchandra.

The family rushed him to one hospital and then another, where he was declared dead.

The police have registered a case of suicide.
