"Mr Modi is abroad and he would be represented by his duly authorised representative to plead to the requisition and reconstitution of the Disciplinary Committee," Modi's attorney and representative Mehmood Abdi said.

However, BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty said that the suspended IPL Chairman should present himself in front of the panel.

"He (Modi) has to appear personally before the Disciplinary Committee," Shetty said after Modi's petition demanding reconstitution of the panel was rejected by the Bombay High Court today.
