Kylie Minogue inducted into Aria Hall Of Fame

Australian singer Kylie Minogue, who sang the Bollywood track Chiggy Wiggy in the film Blue, has been inducted into the Australian Record Industry Association (Aria) Hall of Fame.

Australian singer Kylie Minogue, who sang the Bollywood track Chiggy Wiggy in the film Blue, has been inducted into the Australian Record Industry Association (Aria) Hall of Fame.

The 43-year-old was welcomed into the body, considered to be the Australian equivalent of the BRITs by Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gillard and music journalist Molly Meldrum, reported The Sun online.

Accompanied to the event by her boyfriend, Spanish model Andres Velencoso, the singer said that Velencoso has fallen in love with her native country.

"Thank you to my boyfriend Andres, who is in love with this country. You've made him feel very welcome," Minogue said.

The singer also told guests she felt a sense of amazement, gratitude, humility, wonderment and pride at receiving the honour and still being able to work in the music industry.

She also thanked her family for their support throughout the course of her 24-year-career, singling out sister Dannii Minogue for special praise.
