Nirvana recorded four tracks with me, which they used on their album, Insecticide. They were amazing guys, and we hung out in a bar after the recording. In fact, Dave Grohl, who formed Foo Fighters later, is a great friend. We meet up often.

Coldplay I first recorded with them when they were nothing. They were just out of college and nobody had heard of them. We had a great recording, which they eventually used on an EP. But honestly, I never thought they’d go on to become such a phenomenon. I now share a close relationship with them.

Pearl Jam They are a bunch of really polite Americans. We got along really well and they kept calling me ‘Sir’ for some reason. It was a great, great day for me.

Radiohead I think the best recordings of my life have been with Radiohead. I’m a big fan of theirs. We respect each other a lot.
