The pop star made his debut as a singer with his highly acclaimed album Justified in 2002, after which he released his four singles, which remained in the charts for months.
And, after taking two years out to pursue his acting dreams, Timberlake is back in the studio recording a rockier album, which is expected to be released later this year (06).
"I just needed time from touring and promoting. I needed time to live. I was sucking myself dry of creativity. I needed the time away from myself too. I was sick of me," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling MTV.
"But I'm over that now. I'm ready to return to your TV 24 hours a day!" he added.
