Radhakrishna Kini to monitor PM’s security
NEW DELHI: Senior IPS officer Radhakrishna Kini has been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring security arrangements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The appointments committee of the cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Kini, a 1981 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre, as Secretary (Security) in Cabinet Secretariat, an order issued by the department of personnel and Training (DoPT) said. Kini, currently working as director general in National Crime Records Bureau, will have a tenure till November next year.
