GUWAHATI: After a series of protests, Gauhati University has revoked the expulsion order of three students who were allegedly involved in “anti-university activities”.
GUWAHATI: After a series of protests, Gauhati University has revoked the expulsion order of three students who were allegedly involved in “anti-university activities”. In a notification by Gauhati University registrar S K Nath on Saturday, the three students - Milton Handique, Rejaul Karim and Writtick Saikia - were allowed to appear in their ongoing examinations. “…the students who were expelled vide notification, dated May 26, 2016, issued by the office of the secretary, university classes, are hereby allowed to appear in the respective forthcoming examinations,” the order said.
