The 300m-high tower is part of the firm’s mixed-land Supernova project, and is being touted as one of the tallest buildings in the country. It will have 600 studio apartments and 250 housing units, the developer said.

Representatives of the developer said on Friday they had obtained several occupancy certificates for the tower and offered buyers possession of as many as 575 flats in two 44-storey residential tower — Nova East and Nova West — in Sector 94 at the Delhi-Noida border.

“We have offered possession of 575 flats in the 44-storey Nova East and West towers. The two 180m-high towers are now the tallest ready-to-move buildings in north India. As many as 100 customers have already shifted into the flats. We plan to deliver the country’s tallest tower, the 300m-high Spira, with 80 floors, in the next two years. We have already built 59 floors,” Mohit Arora, managing director of Supertech Limited, said.

Representatives of the developer said they will spend Rs 1,500 crore to deliver 10,000 dwelling units during 2018-19 at 50 locations in different cities, including Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram and Meerut.

Amid the slowdown in the realty sector, a majority of the builders in Noida and Greater Noida are unable to deliver flats on time. According to Noida and Greater Noida authorities, around 300 housing projects are running behind schedule.
