Homebuyers alleged that Amrapali Group had failed to fulfill the promises made at a meeting on May 31, 2017.

“In the meeting the Amrapali Group had promised that it will submit a tower wise delivery schedule for the project by June 7. But till date ,the Amrapali Group has not submitted the detailed plan, when will it deliver the project? The Greater Noida authority officials are not handling homebuyers’ issues seriously and taking strict action against the developer for gross violations,” said Hitesh Nakashi, a homebuyer.

The Amrapali Group had in 2009 launched Amrapali Dream Valley project with a total of 47 towers in Sector Tech Zone-4 . It was to construct around 12,000 dwelling units.

Of the 12,000 flats, around 8,000 have already been sold but the builder has completed only 40% of the construction work, thereby troubling the buyers.

The Greater Noida authority is unaware of how the Amrapali Group will deliver the project.

“Homebuyers met me and raised some issues. I will look into the issue and take appropriate action,” said Janardhan.

However, the Amrapali Group said that they will resume the work by July end.

“We have joined hands with a developer, who will complete the project. The builder has even arranged Rs 100 crore fund to deposit in the Greater Noida authority. The homebuyers should support us and have patience because we are getting all required approvals done,” said Shiv Priya, director of the Amrapali Group.
