The authority said 60% of scanned copies of all property-related documents have already been uploaded, under the project ‘property management system’.

“We hope that the details of remaining 40% of Noida’s properties will be uploaded on the site before June 15. We hope to conduct a trial run of our website on June 15. If all goes well, all allottees in Noida will be able to view their property details online by June-end without visiting the authority office,” says Saumya Srivastava, deputy chief executive officer (DCEO), Noida Authority.

The Authority’s staff is uploading details all properties in housing, industrial, commercial and institutional departments on its website http://www.noidaauthorityonline.com/. There are around 40,000 allottees in the housing department.

“We will upload details of group housing properties for flats and plots at a later stage. As of now, we are not uploading details of group housing projects that have a large number of allottees,” said the DCEO.

“The ID number and password is for security purposes so that only the allottee can view property details,” said another Noida authority official.

The objective of putting all details online is to ensure transparency. The move will also benefit allottees as presently they have to go to the sector 6 office physically and meet the staff there for getting any small detail.

“Visiting the authority office is a tedious task as the staff does not cooperate if one needs a document,” said Neeraj Kumar of sector 12.

“Uploading property details will help a great deal because when a person wants to sell or buy a property he/she wants to check the details. At present, they have to visit the authority’s office to check, but now it can be done online,” said the official.
