More than 30,000 runners, serious and non-serious, will be up early on Sunday morning to participate in the 2010 Airtel Delhi Half Marathon.

Up for grabs will be a prize money of $210,000 (Rs 95.32 lakh). With a large number of elite athletes from around the world set to run, citizens will have company when the first race is flagged off at 7:15am.
While 8,680 participants will run the half marathon distance of 21.097 kms, the 7km Great Delhi Run will see 20,380 people take part. The 4.3km Senior Citizens' Run will have 1100 participants, with the 2.5 km Wheelchair Event attracting 60 participants.
India's top runners will also be in attendance and distance runner Santosh Kumar said the marathon would give them a chance to compete with some of the top names. Santosh, who finished second in 2009, said, "I will be aiming to break the 64-minute-barrier. My preparation has been good."
Brand ambassador, Bipasha Basu, will flag off the races, while celebrities Anil Ambani, Dhanraj Pillay, Rahul Bose, Arshad Warsi and Gul Panag will run.
