Delhi Police win silver in shooting championship

Delhi Police won a silver medal at the 4th All India police shooting championship being held at Kadarpur Range in Gurgaon. The team comprising of Narender Rawat, Jitender Singh and Manmohan Singh shot an aggregate of 1716/1800 in the 10m air rifle event.

Delhi Police won a silver medal at the 4th All India police shooting championship being held at Kadarpur Range in Gurgaon. The team comprising of Narender Rawat, Jitender Singh and Manmohan Singh shot an aggregate of 1716/1800 in the 10m air rifle event. The gold was won ITBP with a score of 1737 and the bronze went to BSF with a score of 1707.

Three players share lead in chess
Sixth seed and Grandmaster Parimarjan Negi, along with Slovenian Grandmaster Lenic Luka and Ukrainian Grandmaster Mikhailo Oleksienko, share the lead with six and half points after the seventh round matches of the ongoing 9th Parsvnath International Grandmasters Chess Tournament here at Ludlow Castle on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, International Master Vaibhav Suri held fourth seed Austrian Grandmaster Markus Ragger to a creditable draw at the same tournament.
