After all, they consisted of Shamim Khan and Rashid Khan, Nos 1 and 2 on the merit list of the Professional Golf Tour of India, as well as Himmat Rai, a winner on the Asian Tour. On Sunday, they lived up to expectations. Silverglades Delhi scripted an amazing turnaround to whitewash DLF Gurgaon 3-0 in the final to win the second Louis Philippe Cup here at the Jaypee Greens.
The tournament was forced into a fifth morning due to heavy showers that caused play to be suspended midway. The Gurgaon team held a slight advantage but when play resumed, things took a different course.HTC
