The Chandigarh golfer, finished with a total of four-under 284 to register his fourth top-10 finish of the season that also earned him the 10th spot in the European Tour Order of Merit.
In a roller-coaster round, Jeev was off the blocks with a birdie on the first hole but undid the good work with a bogey on the second.
He then picked up a shot on the fifth but a bogey and a double bogey in the next two holes saw him make the turn two-over.
On his way back, Jeev tried to make amends with a birdie on the 10th hole but a bogey-bogey finish put paid to his chances of a better finish at the London Golf Club.
At the top, Englishman Ross Fisher blasted a four-under 68 to clinch the title with an aggregate of 20-under 268. Sergio Garcia (66) finished second, seven strokes behind Fisher.
Irishman Graeme McDowell (73) signed off third a stroke adrift of Garcia.
