Europe's Rory McIlroy halved his Ryder Cup singles match with Stewart Cink in Newport today.

Europe's Rory McIlroy halved his Ryder Cup singles match with Stewart Cink in Newport on Monday.
Cink had been one up at the turn but just as in their clashes at the weekend foursomes and fourballs, neither golfer was able to take a decisive lead and the pair went down the 18th together for the third time.
McIlroy found a bunker with his second shot and then failed to get out of it with his third shot, while Cink got onto the green in three.
Cink failed to birdie, though, and McIlroy saved a great half with a pressure par putt.
