A complaint case has been lodged with the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe police station against Bihar in-charge of the All India Congress Committee Jagdish Tytler and Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Anil Sharma.

The case has been lodged under various sections of the Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act, 1989. The complaint has been forwarded to the SP (weaker section) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for necessary action.
The complainant Vidhan Chandra Rana, president of Bihar Dalit Kranti Morcha, has alleged that the concerned leaders had referred the castes of many senior leaders of the party, including speaker of the Lok Sabha Meira Kumar, in the list of permanent invitees.
“I felt hurt after going through the list of the permanent invitees, which had mentioned the castes of the leaders. It is an offence,” Rana said, adding that the move of the two senior leaders Tytler and Sharma would incite chaos and caste feelings.
When contacted, Station House Officer of SC/ST police station Nishar Ahmad said that the complaint petition had been received. “The matter has been forwarded to the SP (weaker section) for further action,” he said.
