The Patna high court on Wednesday asked the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) commissioner, present in the court, to file the action taken report (ATR) evry day detailing steps taken, on hourly basis, to prevent waterlogging and remove of garbage across the state capital.

A division bench of justice T Meena Kumari and justice Chakradhari Saran Singh passed the order while hearing a PIL filed by Sunil Kumar and others on lack of civic amenities in Patna.
The court also asked PMC commissioner to submit the list of officers deputed in various areas to oversee the cleanliness drive. If an officer had failed to redress any complaint, take action against the erring functionary and report to the court, the bench told the PMC chief.
